Here at Palmetto Energy Solutions we offer the best of the best this is why we work with Q-Cells.
Q-Cells is a solar panel manufacturer that makes high performance photovoltaic (PV) products for the residential, commercial, and industrial solar energy markets. Its solar panels are near the top of the market for efficiency, performance, and warranty structure, and they are used by installers all over the world.
If you’re wondering whether Q CELLS solar panels are right for you and which option fits your needs best, check out the information below and then book a free consulation with our solar experts to learn more and receive a customized solar proposal just for YOU!
Q-Cells currently offers 5 series of its solar modules, all of which are based on Q.ANTUM DUO technology; therefore, to meet all your needs we offer the five series. All Q.PEAK DUO series modules are made with half-cut, monocrystalline silicon PERC cells, with modules wired in the split-panel configuration described above. The only differences between the series are
Slight changes in construction, the number of busbars (tiny wires that connect cells together), or the number of cells.
Each Q CELLS series includes a standard model with 120 half-cells, a “BLK” model with 120 half-cells on a black backset, and an “L” model, which uses 144 half cells inside a larger frame.
Q.ANTUM DUO Z Technology with zero gap cell layout boosts module efficiency up to 21,7 %.
Optimal yields, whatever the weather with excellent low-light and temperature behavior.
Long-term yield security with Anti LID Technology, Anti PID Technology 1, Hot-Spot Protect and Traceable Quality Tra.Q™.
High-tech aluminium alloy frame, certified for high snow (6000 Pa) and wind loads (4000 Pa).
Inclusive up to 25-year product warranty and 25-year linear performance warranty.
Q.ANTUM DUO combines cutting-edge cell separation and innovative wiring with Q.ANTUM Technology.
Here at Palmetto Energy Solutions we offer the best of the best this is why we work with REC Group.
Founded in Norway in 1996, REC Group has grown to become an international, pioneering solar energy company with Scandinavian heritage. With around 38 million panels produced and a dependable warranty. REC Groups's solar panels are ideal for residential solar as they look great and deliver strong power output in all conditions, even when partially shaded thanks to their half-cut technology.
REC pioneered the design in 2014, which increases the energy output of solar panels by reducing the size of solar cells so that more can fit on the panel. The panel is split in half so that the top and bottom half operate as two separate panels, generating energy even if one half is shaded.
(1) Shade tolerance unlike traditional solar panels.
(2) Better performance and efficiency while reducing power loss.
(3) Less number of panels required, which saves you money.
(4) We offer a 25 year warranty on the EEC panels.
Check out this educational video by REC Group if you wish to learn more about the benefits of half-cut technology and how they work. To understand if REC's solar panels are the right choice for your home needs and budget contact our team and we will offer you a free (virtual) solar consultation session to provide you with a customized solar proposal just for you!

Here is more information about the models we offer from REC Group.
The REC Alpha Series is one of their best-performing panels. The solar panels have advanced cell technology with increased wiring to improve the flow of the electrical current - one of the top features of half-cut cell technology.
The REC N-Peak Series is built for high efficiency and high power output for maximum use in small locations. The N-Peak Series has two model types, the REC N-Peak Series and the REC N-Peak Black Series, ranging in 310-330 watts. The Black Series offers a sleeker look.
The TwinPeak 2 offers a higher power output per square foot versus the original TwinPeak design. The TwinPeak 2 design allows both sides of the panel to operate as two separate panels and they are split in the middle with separate wiring powering each side of the panel. This means that if one half is shaded, the other can still generate power.
